I'm sure it's normally around 50p. This was in Tesco BTW.

Must be an enormous turnip. I bought one in the Co this morning and it was 50p.

Ah, I must be shopping in the wrong place. It is large, yes. Too large for what I need so I have a half turnip left over and a blunted kitchen knife from cutting the bugger,
