Do we get more crabbit as we get older?

I definitely am, though I've always been a nippy sweetie. But I'm getting worse...I'm worried about so many things, jobs, money, the future, the tax credits cuts coming in, big things that are worth worrying about, it doesn't help that all my pals married guys that have great jobs and earn mega bucks, I try not to feel envious but its hard

I just want to hide from the world or rip someone's head off...I'm also missing my mum and am so jealous of those with their parents still around..

just ignore me, I need a sleep and a cry.

Sad I find myself getting stressed about stuff that I shouldn't which puts me in a crabbit mood. I swing between doing nothing because I'm exhausted while being stressed about what I'm not doing. I've taken an extra day holiday from work to make getting organised for holidays easier, but I'm still in my dressing gown on mn and watching crap telly. I've been awake since half 6 though so still tired. Feel free to have a cry and a sleep but maybe get out and get some (cold and wet) fresh air too.

I think I've gone the other way - less crabbit and more tolerant.

I go from murderous to hysterical laughter on a day to day basis.
Monday- snarly and beatchy.
Tuesday - laughed my arse off all day.
Since there is no identifiable cause, I'm putting it down to being at a funny age.

Dh described me as a thrawn auld boot today.....I was on an online chat with India about DS2s mobile phone account....for an hour and a half about something they have done wrong and want me to sort out, after lying to me at least 3 times and quoting from the training manual about how he "could understand my feelings" several times, I told them to shove the phone where the sun don't shine :o

Defo more crabbit but at the same time not letting the same stuff worry me too much. I hit 40 and thought fuck it! I don't give a monkeys wee red waistcoat if someone in the playground doesn't like me or Dd or if people want to gossip about me it says more about them than me.

but fuck yes, general incompetence and failing technology can set me off on a sweary filled rant
