Congrats Allyco.

Bunni, I'm with you, left my libido somewhere, buggered if I know where...

Once a week, or dh starts to get a bit twitchy.

Allyco, congrats, did you leave MN on this thread as a hint .

We had a kids party today and my dh is snoring away behind me - nothing new there then! If anyone stumbles across my libido as I lost it ages ago, can you pls send it back to me 1st class post!

wells its been months, and seeing dh is tender in that area as the hospital sliced very close for an angiogram, and tomorrow i am having a baby, we can safely say it'll be at least 6weeks.

Sex? Huh? Wassat? Have poor memory, I can only remember things that happened less than a year ago....

Know the feeling. I can't be bothered with it either most of the time. Much rather turn over and go to sleep! After having kids demanding me all day and never getting time to myself the last thing I need is someone else hanging all over me. Mind you saying that Friday night (as I'm sure you heard already) had a great alcohol induced night out. Dh and I came and............ well need I say anymore???? It was bloody fantastic! It's a bit tricky to get time to ourselves here - two dds and my sister lives with us too. She moves out in a few weeks so hopefully things may improve then!

does ANYONE over 20 have any kind of sex life any more?

I seem to be reading stuff like this everywhere, and i wonder if it is a modern phenomena, or if couples still wanting to be close is and has always been a total myth?

Help! Help! I'm one of the er...constant bonkers but now we've found out I'm pregnant again we're both really really nervous and are holding off for ages.... how do I stave off the insanity of not doing it! Whhhyy does he have to sleep naked and 'squidge' up to me all night! AAAAHHHH!

Report
Leogaela · 21/02/2005 10:38

Fastasleep - a 'constant bonker'! I like that expression! I'm one too. WHy should being pregnant stop you??? Although these last few weeks of my pregnancy (now 37+ weeks) it has reduced and not because I don't feel like it (more that i have concerns about the pregnancy).
I get irritable if I don't get it at least twice a week, its like not getting enough food or sleep, I find it relaxing and a great way to release stress. Maybe things will change after our baby makes an appearance!

oh anonymous chap you are v. cynical (have I spelt that right it looks wrong).

DH and I been married 21 years and yes we do want to be close it isn't a myth at all. It's just very hard to get round to it. It's the old story I suppose: "you should make time".

dh and i have been together almost 17 years , and we have a pretty good sex life . The odd barren patch, but nothing to complain about really. Closeness doesn't have to wear off after the first few years.
