Really gutted advice please

I replied to a guy online before he was really funny but I didn’t fancy him. (He is 38 I’m 30) he had been single for 6 years and said he suffered depression before the 6 years but being on his own healed him and he had never met anyone he liked enough to ask to be his girlfriend, he lives alone but has friends. We would chat 24/7 If i didn’t reply to his texts he would send lots in a row until I did, If we ever bickered he would ring me constantly until I answered. I told him I am going to Ibiza with my friends and then he sent me a pic the following day to show he booked the exact same flight with his friends which shocked me but i thought he must like me. I rang him once and his friends took over the phone, they knew so much about me , one said ‘what have you done to my mate his smitten’ another said they thought he was gay because he never talks about girls and asked me to be gentle with him. I kept putting off meeting him, I thought what If he does not fancy me in person but after four months of talking we met up. I liked him more than i thought but after we met he seemed distant, calling me ‘mate’. I was upset and retaliated by meeting another man , I uploaded a selfie of me at the venue, he knew I was on a date as all my friends commented saying the venue looked cute, it was a bad move on my part, he rang saying he can't believe I did that. We both agreed to stop talking to other people and spoke 24/7 for a few more weeks until we met up and spent the weekend together. I slept with him. He suggested coming to mine next time and I kept bringing up the distance being so long , I didn’t think anything of it but guess I seemed negative. After our weekend together, the following day, I went to lunch with my mum and he rang me shouting, saying show me who your with!! He said I am social media obsessed and kept bringing up the date I went on saying I’m untrustworthy. I told him I had now told all my friends about him and I forwarded him messages that I sent friends saying how much I enjoyed the weekend with him and how much I like him etc. He also made a weird comment that I always had the power and now he has the power. I assumed maybe he didn’t like me so this was all one big cop out. Day after that I went London with friends and he said he knew I’d go there as lots of men around, he sent me 40 messages in a row some name calling. I told him that he obviously has his mind made up about me and there was nothing I could do so I said for him to just leave it. He then text me a agoodbye message wishing me the best in life and I responded with the same. The week after ' cutting ties' he text me making small talk and said he felt a massive loss. I told him I missed him , he asked me why I unfollowed him on social media but said it’s a mature decision I unfollowed. I asked if he had gone back to dating sites and he just kept telling me to not ask questions. That hurt so I told him no good is coming from us reconnecting. I wished him the best. The week after cutting ties a second time he sent me a picture of a film we watched together, I ignored it. The following week he sent me a text at 2am but he deleted it before I got to read it so I messaged him back asking what he deleted, he never replied to me. That was 4 weeks ago , I haven’t heard from him since . I've followed the no contact rule to try heal myself but I’m not healing and with 4 weeks passed I am doubtful he will reach out. My friends tell me his since back on dating sites which hurts, I just keep thinking of him with other women. I keep myself busy but its always on my mind. (Btw - I’ve since changed my flights to Ibiza to week after unbeknown to him he will still expect me to be out there same time in June but I won't be ) .
