I’m so tired of being stressed

Dh and I have been going through a rather long rough patch. Young dc’s, him working ridiculous hours, me feeling resentful and isolated as a sahm, increasingly frail parents and just general life stress means that we’ve had no time together for years. We’re finally going away, just us, for a few days on Monday. The airport is 200 miles away, motorways which always have jams somewhere along the lines. The quickest you can do this drive is 3hr15 which we have never done, usually takes 4-4.5 hours. Flight just after midday, flying out of EU. Dh absolutely refusing to leave before 6am. I just know we’ll get stuck in traffic, argue, end up rushing to get flight or missing it. It’s supposed to be a nice, relaxing few days for us to work on our relationship. The reason h doesn’t want to leave earlier is that he doesn’t want to hang around the airport. It feels like he just wants to sabotage the whole thing. I now I’m being a complete brat but I’d now rather just not go.
