Just stumbled upon this on Facebook and think it's pretty good. Just as relevant today as when it was written?

Oh dear, apparently mine's very poor, borderline failure. Fortunately I disagree Grin

The scores don't make sense. You can't score well without going on multiple dates a week!

bathandpjs · 08/11/2017 18:04

Even if you went on a date every day the max score is 62 Confused

As it happens DH is very poor Grin

I’d love to see the wife rating chart.

“Deduct 5 points for each minute you have to wait for dinner on returning home for work”

Oh dear, despite only having 2 demerit points DP is apparently “poor”. I should add that his demerits are snoring and his bloody shoes!

Is there meant to be another page (maybe the wife's chart?) to add to it, as it isn't enough as it stands.

Yes yes we need to see the wife one! DH is 'very poor' but I think that's very harsh! Perhaps we should devise or own, fit for 2017. What would we put in it?

-5 if the whatsapp tick is blue for more than 5 minutes

My boyfriend is poor apparently despite the fact he does everything in the merit column. Don't think it's possible to have anything above poor haha.

How the hell is “reads books and papers aloud to wife” a positive? It would drive me to murderous thoughts far quicker than any amount of belching and misplaced shoes. Angry

Given that the maximum score a husband could acquire before demerits is around 50 (assuming four dates every week), I can't see how anyone would manage to reach the "Very Superior" category.

I would kill DH if he started reading aloud to me. I am apparently a terrible wife, according to that chart, but as he is equally terrible we are made for each other!

Littlegreyauditor · 08/11/2017 21:07

Oh dear me, I’ve scored a mighty 5 for myself due to several de-merits. Ah well.

isn’t warming up your cold feet on your husband one of their major plus points?

Sorry to be a misery but this looks fake. Date night? I’m pretty sure that was invented last year.

Christ I thought the guys one was extremely harsh and then I saw the wife one. Dressing for breakfast? Obviously, I 'do' wear clothes but I suspect that's not what they mean. Unstraight stocking seams perhaps. Straight seams or no, DP would never get to work and consequently gain five demerit points for being unindustrious!

It’s nice to see something from years ago that acknowledges men were capable of doing wrong Grin.

Everything I’ve ever seen before has been along the lines of berating women for not having freshly applied lipstick when their husband comes home etc., etc.
