Is this normal?

Hi everyone,
ok so this is embarassing but last couple of weeks I have started to want sex all the time, it's on my mind constantly... I am 41, we usually have sex couple of times a week when we're not too knackered, and this sudden change seems different. I am enjoying it, have spoken to hubby who poor thing works 12 hour days, and studies, so I hate to add pressure but this is driving me crazy! Anyone else had this happen?

Yes! Happening to me right now. I’m 34 my DP works long hours driving 6 days a week and is mostly knackered! Feel bad for him cuz I’m a total sex pest I keep think about it and what I’m going to do to him. I’m loving it but get a bit annoyed when I have to wait as he is just so tired but hey ho.

Phew that's a relief - it's so strange but it's on my mind all the time, he finishes work later than I do, thankfully I can't pester him soon as he gets in as we need to get little one to bed - otherwise I would . I have all sorts of fantasies going on that are shocking! Luckily he's always known I enjoy it and has promised he'll be more alert to whaT i need...

Yes I've been like this for about 18 months. I'm 43 and have read it's possibly premenopausal. I'm not sure it's that or coming off the pill that killed my naturally high libido. Whatever it is we're enjoying every moment (every day ).

Thanks - it's distracting me so much, I am even considering erm looking online for pics, plus buying some toys (he said he'd be open to it but I think it could be difficult ego territory surely to any man). Any tips to survive the days aside from working manically?

Brahms do you mean you are at it daily? I am jealous! Right now I feel he will have to do something for me daily yes whether his whole body is involved or not

Think I need to see the doctor about this - it's gone from hoping for 3-4 times a week, to daily and now wanting more than that. Poor hubby is exhausted and this is such a big change. Having fun though! Would it be a general GP, presumably when I have my smear soon i could ask then?

Don't worry I've been like this for over a year now and still going. And yes it is every day, at least once .

I hope it doesn't end I'm definitely enjoying myself! Hubby has a super busy week this week but he'll have more energy next week. I've been looking at LoveHoney too, a whole world has opened up

I was like this for a while when I was coming off long term contraception. It was loads of fun, but it's died down now I've fallen pregnant hahaha
