Confused by online dater

I am NOT an online dater. I was chatted up by a guy in a normal place who I found out later was doing OLD. We ended up spending several hours together and he texted me afterwards to say how he enjoyed etc. I was not expecting anything more as I was not looking for dating.
2 days later I get a text stating he will be coming over to see me again soon so I thought ok. ( he lives 20 miles away)Then he said there had been a real chemistry between us blah blah . Daily texts
saying things like I am at the gym, out doing xyz which surprised me a bit. Anyway I did reply but found it impossible to pin him down to this next meeting. The last text I got was I will be in touch as asap to say when I am coming but he never turned up. He had not got into a relationship with anyone else as He told me the OLD women never turned up etc This has made me angry as I was not doing OLD yet
he was treating like one of these very women he was complaining about . Is he just a pain in the .......?
