Advice needed!

So as it turns out husband is a douche bag & im not sure where we go from here 😳.

I need to think about many things including finances. Slight issue though. A year ago I took out a sum of money (£7000) for HIM to pay off HIS debts from before he met me. He was unable to get a loan out in his name because he is self employed/not a home owner. I then took out this loan in MY name with nothing written down to prove this.

Does anyone have any practical advice of what I can do? I wouldn't be able to pay the monthly payments back as have 2 small children.

Please no comments on how stupid I was etc etc, I am well aware of this!!

You might be better off posting this in the Legal part of the chat forums. Get some advise from those who genuinely know. I would assume that if it can't be proven, you are probably stuffed, but you need people with legal knowledge to advise you.
