Am I told if STBX will have brief with him at Occupation hearing prior to date?

Hi All, I'm about to try to serve my STBX with an Occupation Order and in order to prepare myself, I wondered if anyone knows whether I'll be told if he will be represented at the hearing (or not)? I don't necessarily want to fork out for my own solicitor to be there if I don't need to and equally, I don't want to arrive on the day and find his brief is there and I'm left to represent myself!

Any advice on witness statement preparation would be greatly received too...

Thanks

I don't think he's obliged to tell you, although I'm no expert. From PE, I didn't know (although I had suspected) that exW would have a barrister at FC and I didn't tell her that I would.

Have you had any advice (solicitor input) at all whilst preparing the order? It may give you some peace of mind to have one review it and run over your arguments for having it granted, even if you self-represent at the hearing.

Thanks Changedname. I'm taking this route on my solicitor's advice and will look to run it past her prior to submission. Unfortunately, she's a difficult lady to catch at times and I really want to crack on with this as much as I can over the weekend.
