Talk me down from this - libido related!!

After 16 years have told him to shove it. It's been 3 moths post convo.

During the last few years, my sex drive was nonexistent due to man child and other unsavory things.

Unfortunately, I'm still living with him but in the spare room whilst we sort out living arrangements etc. nothing's going to happen quickly

My libido has decided to fecking reappear with a vengeance. I am climbing the blardy walls. I am obsessed. I absolutely DO NOT want to get into a relationship of any fucking kind. What the hell do I do? Apart from the obvious, which I'm doing...

There are a couple of opportunities but they're highly inappropriate. It would be madness to go there, think work colleague (divorced and single) and an ex from years ago. He's in Oz though so that's not so bad...

Sorry no constructive advice other than to channel your energy into sorting out new living arrangements ASAP and then joining tinder or similar. Really don't get into anything you will later regret, work colleagues being the no 1 NO.

You can look forward to the fun as soon as you are free but this sounds messy and has the potential to be held against you.

Avoid work colleague like the plague, but apart from that you go out and have yourself some fun my girl. It's not the 1950s any more. I'm not saying shag anything that can't run away fast enough, but join Tinder or similar, and if it hits you both right, then go for it. Remember to pack condoms ;)

Do whatever it takes to scratch that itch OP, but absolutely do not join him next door in his bedroom!

How is your ex in Oz an opportunity sparkly? Thinking of starting up a hot sexting / phone convo? Grin

Yes sexting guy in Oz already. Have been in contact with him for ages but it's only just started to get a bit hot. Don't want to get back with him or anything and same with him really and the distance makes it 'safe'

Yes I know I should keep work colleague at arms length, which I'm resolute at doing atm but fuck me the urges are dangerously strong. And I know it's just the urges iyswim.

Internet stuff seems so seedy and a bit dangerous but I know nothing about it so please disregard my comments. Internet was in its infancy when I was still dating so I am a dinosaur when it comes to that sort of thing.

So what is Tinder? I SO don't want to date. To be frank I just want a fuck with no strings but there's no such thing, is there? And swingers? Jeez, it seems so, well.....functional....but haven't I just said I just want a fuck? Maybe I'm fighting my inner good girl....

Haven't got any experience with tinder so can't help you out there, sorry.
How long has your guy in Oz been over there, is he coming back? Maybe the sexting can tide you over in the meantime and you can just be fwb when he gets back?

There is definitely such a thing as no strings sex if you want it! At the risk of offending the feminists amongst the MNers it's usually finding a woman openly wanting NS that is the difficulty. You could find a guy to ride no problems if you really wanted to. Just don't end up next door!

Lots of couples meet in the workplace and go on to have a great relationship, but if you're just after a slag I can see how this might not work out.
I wouldn't continue with the ex in Oz, hasn't he moved on? If he's an ex I'm assuming it's from before you got married, so also assume his situation is very different now than it was then. It's not highly inappropriate because he's married with kids, is it? Hmm
I'd recommend tinder for no strings attached 'relations'! Wink
