This is hypothetical and not a situation I find myself in but I've been reading a lot recently about domestic abuse and how insidious it can be. The public image of a family/ couple does not reflect what's actually going on within. When (if) people DO finally find themselves strong enough to escape physically, what do they or should they pack or put into place before they walk out of the door?
