Instead of using my free time doing something nice, I was snooping on DP's ex and accidently clicked on 'follow'. I immediately unfollowed but notification out, damage done. I haven't heard anything back but she's an avid social media user and will have seen it. Oh the shame!!! A male (heterosexual and older / wiser) advised me to send her a msg wishing her and the boys happy ny. I haven't had any contact with her since we were introduced 12 months ago, so this will either make me look desperately insecure (even more!!!) or will put me in the picture. In some ways, it makes sense seeing that we're getting married in September and the boys come down to stay every so often. Thoughts??
And Happy 2015 to all xxxx

just let the twitter thing go. you can't undo it so don't feel so mortified.

wtf A male (heterosexual and older / wiser)

what does that have to do with anything...

Hmm, I'm not sure my advice will be worth as much as the male, hetero advice you've already received.

just block her then if she wants to look you up she won't be able to see anything about you.

She might not get a notification. If she uses it a lot, she may have turned them off because it is annoying to get so many.

I only get email notifications hours or even a day after someone followed me. She might not have any other notifications turned on. Forget about it, she may never know.

Why are you asking us lowly women anything when you have received the gold standard of advice already ? Wink

Ha! Thank you all. I didn't mean any offence but that my friend would be seen as a good source of advice!! I agree that it's best to just leave it... still oopsy ;-) xx

Wow. Why would you think that?

Honestly-I'd just leave it -she may never know and if she does she'll probably think it was a mistake.

I'm sure your friend is very sensible but not all older heterosexual males give good advice-as you'll no doubt see from reading on here Grin

When I am looking for good advice I would very rarely go for older male heterosexual as my starting point
