Fucking men.

That is all really.

No wonder I'm happy to be single. Even the things they are supposed to be good at they are shit at. No redeemable features whatsoever.

Ex rode in like a knight on a white charger yesterday, "fixed" (read totally fucked) my toilet, left a pile of mess and fucked off again.

I need to get some DIY skills and I will never need another man again. Ever. Well apart from the window cleaner. And the bloke that fixes my car. Smile

Sorry. Just needed to rant.

Blimey WhyYouGotta, did you mean to be so rude?

I wasnt rude. OP made a pretty rude statement herself about men when actually she meant just one man she was angry at. Ive no issue with people needing to vent about their exes but can you imagine if a man posted about 'fucking women' because he asked his ex to come round and cook dinner but she couldnt even do that right so he has to learn cooking skills so he wont need a woman ever again except for his cleaner and hairdresser?

It's not just the fixing stuff.

It's ok though, I need to stop making shit choices.

Instead of seeing it as stopping making shit choices, how about seeing it as making better choices. Say the door on the shower fell off and you would normally ask him to fix it. But that costs you the price of having him in your house, having him think you still need him, feeling like you still need him, feeling like you owe him, him thinking he has some say/power over you (and whatever else he does-my ex used to try and grope me after we split Hmm) instead you could call a repairman and pay a few £ have the door fixed with no emotional cost whatsoever. Or maybe get a pole and hang a shower curtain yourself temporarily til you could get the door fixed properly.

Start looking at problems as if he isnt available. Lets pretend he lives in australia.

Though it seems I'd (deliberately) missed the point.Smile

You need one of those Joanna Lumley satnav recorded voices that says "Now fix her toilet." Guarenteed.

Well, the 'fucking women' thread has just appeared.

I wonder if either or both will survive.

You are a catch!

Believe me, with an attitude like that, no one would want you.

Not surprised your ex is your ex......

Poor thing

The other thread just went proof. Wonder how long this one will last.

However, OP, do send the few extra pounds and find someone suitable for the repairs. He is your ex for a reason.Grin
