Any one else finding this hard to take seriously? Non stop jeopardy, Earnest discussions about “ the Godess” “ Odin” etc and battle sound effects in the background. I’m not into Game of Thrones so maybe it was never going to do it for me. I find it so humourless and hard to take the plot seriously.

I was listening to WH recently and it segued into this and about 5-10mins my hearing "refocused" back in and I was all "what the fuck is this bulge?!"

It felt so earnest and try-hard and that made it a bit cringey.

It’s twenty first century values clumsily transposed onto the early Middle Ages. With a sing-song Scandi accent to tick all the boxes. Cringe.

Not really up my street, and yes I find the Scandi accent extremely irritating also.
