It's the fabulous Bob Servant in ... "Delete this at your peril!" Written by Neil Forsyth. I have to get a copy.

Oh was that the series of them at the end of You and Yours? It was good.

I heard the one with Bob Servant and the Russian Girl.

(Tiny point but I thought Bob was meant to be from Dundee not Glasgow? lots of local references made me think this: and our Dundonian Brian Cox playing Bob)

Bob Servant 'Hero of Dundee'.... must be a Dundonian. Will have to read book to find out where Frank the Plank, Chappy Williams and Tommy Peanuts come from.

Ah. Can I play the 'distracted, rather than ignorant' card? Probably not!
I have to read the rest. He had me in distracted stitches. Thanks chil and kiery.

Oh good, I'm glad someone wrote a play about scammers for the Radio 4 audience. what was the outcome, does anyone know? I read something somewhere about racism being a factor in so many pillars of British society getting scammed by these - part of them believes that no African would be clever enough to rip them off. This has certainly been a factor IMO in my father losing at least £75,000 of other people's money.
