Convertible "off-road".....(maybe MountainBuggy?)

Hi,

Does anyone have good recommendations for a double all-terrain pushchair that can converted to a double?
We have the iCandy Peach and our son is outgrowing it already (at almost 6 months!). He's very long and I don't think it will last too much longer (it certainly won't see him into his toddler years) and I am looking for something that will also cope with forest walks.
In retrospect I wouldn't have bought the iCandy, it is lovely, but I hadn't anticipated our monkey growing so quickly or wanting to be "off-road" so often.

I need storage (I don't know how I manage it but I seem to leave with half the house every time) and easy manoeuvrability. We live in a small town with narrow pavements so size may be an issue.

We are talking about trying to add to our family at the end of this year/early next year so ideally I would like something that's easy to convert into a double later (and that isn't too complicated or expensive to do so - converting the iCandy into a double it seems is a bit of a nightmare (and pricey) - something the sales person neglected to tell me when I was looking at them!).

I've looked at the Mountain Buggy plus one (it can convert and be used from birth) online and it seems like it's what I am looking for....but I don't want to make the same mistake that I made with the iCandy.

It needs to fit in the boot of a Focus and not weigh more than the iCandy ideally too (am I asking for the impossible?!)

Also if anyone has any experience with the older model vs the newer one that would be great (the older model is on sale!).
