Double buggy for older children?

Not sure if this exists. I've got my 4 year old and almost 3 year old in a Phil and teds at the moment but my 4 year old is over the weight limit and his legs are getting too long to be comfortable on the footrest. I'm looking for something bigger that will last another 2 or 3 years.

(They both have sn before anyone says they are too old for a buggy)

Don't know but my two are growing out of our Phil and Ted and are much younger, so I'm interested in any responses too.

I had a Baby Jogger City Mini double for my twins and it lasted them really well. Their older brothers sometimes climbed in for a laugh and they seemed to fit in pretty well too! It's worth investigating anyway.

Baby jogger city mini double, awesome bucket seats, my average sized 7yo can still get in. Good baskets and sun hoods and ridiculously easy to fold and unfold.

Brilliant, thankyou. I thought I was going to have to spend thousands on a SN buggy. Off to trawl ebay.

I actually have one I might sell Grin

Seriously though there should be some good ones out there good luck. And the accessories you can buy for them like food trays, parent dashboards etc are cool

For longevity i would look at the baby jogger elite and the out and about nipper double.

I have one of their single buggies and it is fantastic. This is a bargain and goes up to 17kg instead of the usual 15. Also can be used off-road and for jogging! www.amazon.co.uk/Britax-BOB-Revolution-Duallie-Stroller/dp/B00MNCPFY4?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21

Ignore last comment, I thought this one had a fixed or rotating front wheel like mine but it's a fixed wheel only!

Thankyou. My 4 year old weighs over 20kg so the britax one would be too small.
