Cosatto Giggle collapsing?

Hi,

I have read reviews about the cosatto giggle travel system collapsing with children in them. Most of the reviews are old and I was wondering if anyone had any more recent updates on this.

I hear cosatto are denying there is a problem now, that it was a bad batch before that got recalled.

Any help greatly appreciated!

I don't use it but this is what MiL keeps at her house for the kids and its a double one. Shes never had any problems with it collapsing but its not like it gets everyday use, its once a week or once a fortnight really.

And believe me - if my MiL had a problem with this buggy the whole world would know about it with her complaining.

Watchdog did an item on them about a year ago regarding the collapsing issue. I would assume that this would mean that they have dealt with it now, but don't know

I've had a giggle for over a year - it's had almost daily use and there's not been a problem with it. Cosatto got in touch before Christmas 2013 and asked me to send it in to them so they could check it as there had been a faulty batch which caused the front wheel to collapse on three prams in total. Ours came back with a full safety certificate and a bar of chocolate! Can't fault them really.

Hi there,
Jus a couple of days my cosatto giggle treet has been collapsing. I've had it for a year and It really worried me since all incidents was with my daughter in it. I called them today and they will pick up tomorrow and return back in 2 days after that. Which is fab but it has made me loose my trust in them now. It would have been great if they didn't put my child in danger, so fingers crossed it wot happen again.

Nishy I was about to say the same. It is still collapsing. I wouldn't buy one - there's plenty of others to choose from
