cleaning smelly phil and teds coccoon

i got a phil and ted sport second hand. it had been stored in a garage for a couple of yrs but was in good cond. and looked really clean. the cocoon really smells tho , poss damp. i washed it in bath with non bio snd dettol laundry but the smell is still there tho reduced....any ideas ? want to make sure its safe for baby due soon xx

Bicarb of soda ...lots and lots either make a paste and rub in with a brush leave to dry pref in sun and hoover or sprinkle liberally leave and then hoover.
