Maxi Cosi Pebble on Phil n Teds?? Or Baby Jogger City Select. Or ...?! Help!!!

Hi! Has anyone used the above combination? I can only find adaptors for the Cabriofix and we already have the Pebble.
If not then I guess I am going for the Baby Jogger City Select, as I need a tandem for my two which will take the Pebble car seat. Any advice much appreciated as am going mad trying to make the double buggy choice.
I'm not a Phil n Teds fan as I want both children to see out and I need a decent shopping basket, but I have read that the BJCS gets hard to push. I have a 2 yr age gap and do not need the buggy every day.
The scenarios are walking to park on A road (so no buggy board etc), driving then shopping (hence desire to use car seat on frame) and driving then walking in woods on tarmac.
I will have a 2 yr age gap, and am looking to buy second hand something that will do me for a yr or so, then sell on and revert to much-loved single buggy (Bugaboo Frog). So hopefully be rid of it by the time eldest is 3 so maybe weight/ kerb/ pushing issue of BJCS not so bad?

Are you sure that the cabriofix adapters don't fit the pearl? I ask because the adapters for our joolz day fit both.

Hi! That's useful thanks! No I'm not entirely sure- online I'm getting different information and I can't work out it the Pebble car seat could go on all p n t models or just some!
I like the look of BJCS just bit concerned about wheels/ pushing/ weight issue

I had a Phil n Teds, then had twins, so bought the BJCS. I loathed the PnT, and am so grateful I found the BJCS. By the time your eldest gets v heavy, you can get take the 2nd seat off and put the eldest on a buggy board. The BJCS does get hard to push, it's true, but I don't know of another tandem that gives toddlers adequate space.

Side by sides are terrible, IMO, or at least, they are in Central London - I was forever getting jammed in doors or between front railings and light posts ROTC.

The pebble car seat will fit on the Cabriofix Adaptors

I have a phil and teds and the car seat adaptor has hardly been used because it's so awkward - I use the adaptors on my single bugaboo all the time because they are easy but the phil and teds is a heavy frame sort of thing that takes up half the boot! Just something to consider. I do quite like my P&T but am considering getting a BJCS when number three arrives.

Bunnymother thanks that's v helpful. I'm not a Pn T fan - I just don't like the idea of no 2 not being able to see out, but I have friends who rave about it. I also really like the look of BJCS
Mylifes a mess - thanks too!
Soapnuts - that's helpful . I did wonder that as in the pictures the adaptors look much more awkward than the bugaboo ones
