Which is better - Britax B-agile or BJCM?

Just wondered what people thought really, I don't like my Maclaren and am after something with a good fold mechanism, fairly lightweight, to go in the boot of the car.

Any thoughts appreciated! Thanks.

Simple answer:
If you are tall get the BJCM, if you are short get the B-Agile.
If it is for a young child get the BJCM, and if its for an over 2 year old get the B-Agile.
If you are a combination of the two then get a BJCMGT :)
This might help too.

Oh you're wonderful. Thanks, Tiggy. Smile

I'm sort of tall but not overly - so hopefully will be Ok with the B agile, as it's for an over-two.

I briefly had a BJCM, before I was pg, and sold it on feeling guilty - and it was great (well, in the hall, without a child in it) but I was worried it might not be that strong, in terms of the fabric footrest particularly iykwim? Just a lot of it was fabric.
I thought from the look of the b-agile, it might be a bit more sturdy.

Just hope it isn't really heavy?

Excellent review...

I'm still a bit undecided though! I prefer the hood and handle on the BJCM, but the brake and fold sound a bit better on the B-agile.

Sizewise I think the B-agile is going to work better for us...which is good, as I've ordered one already actually Blush because it was half price on Amazon (£114) and though the colour is 'desert sand' which I am not convinced will remain presentable, it has to be worth a shot.

Thanks again, will update!

I had a b agile, tiggy and I always slightly disagreed over it, I prefer the b agile, it's certainly sturdy enough. I had no problem with the handle, I'm 5'8". At that price you cannot go wrong, when I got one it was about £160 and I thought that was money well spent really. It's not really heavy at all, carrying it is slightly more awkward than the city mini because the fold strap is not right on the top of the pushchair but about 4 inches over one side. Not the end of the world Grin

LOL yes we have agreed to disagree but I think I am always pretty fair about the B-Agile because I do think it is excellent. But the handle was too low for me and I am two inches shorter than ihateparties so it is personal choice as well :D and I do think the B-Agile is one of the best small folding, easy to use pushchairs out there.

Oh, thankyou - that's really good to know. I looked at the 3 wheel version in Mothercare today and it did look pretty sturdy...and you're taller than me so that's good too! Smile

x posts, sorry Tiggy! I had this open in a different tab to look at, and just got round to answering it Blush

Glad it has got approval all round, anyway - I do prefer certain things about the BJCM especially the hood, but still, price was a factor so hopefully this will be a success Smile

Got to sell on my Maclaren now - it's not even been used yet, but I hate the buckle! and the colour.

Well...it's arrived, and it's quite nice. The colour is nice, the frame is nice, it all feels like good quality stuff.

However I don't really like the mesh part of the hood, or the way the hood fabric attaches - the back panel is a bit complicated with all that velcro and so on.

The fold is great, but rather sudden! I like the brake - that's very good too.

In short I don't think I will keep it. Pushchairs have to be quite 'special' for me to want to hang on to them, and this is a good one but not a great one Smile

If anyone would like it, for what I paid, plus courier then I'm happy to sell it on - otherwise I'll return it!

Thanks for all your help and advice x
