Can anyone give some info or advice on the differences between the two Baby Jogger Prams including indicative prices? I am looking for a second lighter pram that folds in one piece and that is not too heavy to use in addition to my Icandy Peach. DS is 9M at the moment and dont want anything too flimsy.............

Thanks in advance Smile

BJCM is a small three wheeler stroller, has stroller type wheels. Relly light, asy to push and a dream to fold.

BJCE is a huge beast with air tyres. It has an adjustable footrest, adjustable handle and parent consol. a dream to fold, but very heavy.

I have had both, both were excellent prams.

If you are looking for a stroller/smaller type pram, then you want the BJCM.

Hi,

I looked into both the Baby Jogger City Mini and City Elite. We are looking at it for our main buggy so therefore took different things into consideration.

The pluses of both are: best fold, durable, easy to push, big seats that will accommodate your child from a very young age til 4, lie flat and great for sleeping.

The things that drew us to the City Elite: more solid, more plush seat which sits more upright than the City Mini seat (all 3 wheeler buggies seem to have seats that don't sit quite bolt upright), forever air tyres which are really good for walking, an adjustable handlebar (DH is a foot taller than me!).

The thing that would have been better about the City Mini: lighter, folds up smaller as less of it.

Yes the Elite is heavier but the chassis size isn't really much different. The footplate makes the fold a bit more chunky. As others have said you get more padded seats, better buckle, leg rest that lifts up to flat, everlasting air tyres, a slightly bigger hood, better basket access, parent console, bigger footplate. The City Mini certainly isn't flimsy if that helps. Both have the amazing ine handed fold.

The Elite is easier to manouvre than the BJCM with a heavy toddler/preschooler how long do you think you'll need to use a pushchair still?
Many people seem to stop around 3y (due driving their little ones in cars for longer trips as 3y olds can walk pretty well on short outings), although if you don't drive and pre-school is a long walk you might want a buggy still.

Thanks for all the help, thinking that it will be the BJCM rather than the Elite as one of the main priorities is that this new pram is lightweight and folds up pretty small.
