Phil and Teds Smart buggy?

Looking for a pushchair for my baby. He is nearly 11 months old and still dinky. Ive been using a Silvercross 3D, Sleepover on the classic chassis and an old Maclaren Mac3 for dog walking.

As you can tell, anything is going to be BEAUTIFUL to push! I dont want to spend over £150.

Dont like the Zapp as it doesnt recline, not feeling the Zia either tbh. Baby City Mini Jogger thing is too expensive and I dont like micro.

Im torn between the Phil and Ted Smart or the M&P Luna Mix (4 wheel)

I dont want an unbrella fold, I also have a huge boot so the size when folded isnt an issue. I just want SWIVEL WHEELS! Im quite exited and I have turned into a buggy bore!

Well the Smart barely reclines unless you buy the verso adapters to turn it into a rear facer that reclines ok then...Basket is very small...It is a lovely easy to push buggy though i'd prefer it if it had a single handle...Hoods fantastic as a sunshade.

i had one of the 4 wheel luna mix for my 16mo,it was the worse pushchair i have ever had, kept it 2 weeks, used it 3 times and sold it (for a huge loss :() tipped constantly, harness was useless,lo could lean right out the side and tip it over, couldnt recline him as it made the buggy tip!AWFUL.

i did like the look of the smart until i seen it in RL yesterday in mothercare, heavy for what it is,seat not very big, basically a hard seat with a cushion on it,wasnt impressed,i would def suggest having a look at it in a shop before buying.

i have an xt which i love, cant fault it at all.

No no no....smart is crap!

Which is a shame because p&t had an opportunity there, to make a really ace buggy but they failed miserably!

Seat looks uncomfortable....its hard.....my charge, who lives sitting ub buggies and will happily do so for well over an hour... wanted out of this within 20m

It feels unstable and cheap!

And the recline is crap

I hate it even more then I hate the maclaren quest!

Maclaren XT on the other hand is fantastic!!

There's a review of the Smart here www.bestbuggy.co.uk/2011/04/phil-teds-smart-review-by-theresa/ which Phil & Teds put on their Facebook this week.

If you can stretch your budget a bit you could get a Baby jogger city mini from boots for £187 in black or £191 in other colours if you use the code PROM150.

Forgot to say, if you have a parenting club card and have validated it to get 10 points per pound, then you'll get 2190 points, which is £21.90 to spend so it's more than your budget but you get more for nappies/food/formula/whatever. [busmile]
