Has anyone had a buggy board on M&P Aria?

Lascal website says there is restricted headspace for a buggy board on M&P Aria - DS is tall 3 year old. Any experience good or bad?

I don't think a tall 3 yo would be comfortable on a buggy board on an aria as they would have to lean backwards to avoid the handle bar (not enough room to put their head between the hood and the bar IYSWIM). This would also make it uncomfortable for you to push.

Also in answer to your other thread your husband is right the buggy board would get in the way (or at least make it awkward to use) the brake.

IME the best type of pushchair to have a buggy board on is an umbrella fold (like a maclaren) which has 2 handles that the child can stand between.

I forgot to add I had an Aria when ds2 was a small baby and ds1 was 3.6. Ds1 is tall for his age and I never considered putting the buggyboard on the Aria because there just looked like there was no room for ds1.

Thanks tutu - the website says that the Graco Mirage, which looks very similar, does have enough space; would you know if this is reliable?? Had two umbrella folds for DS1, and really wanted one with connecting handlebar this time for easier one-handed pushing, besides other 'upgrades', but does this just make it difficult to fit a buggy board for a tall one full-stop?

I had a mirage for ds1 (it had died by ds2 so never tried a buggy board on it). It has a higher handle than the Aria and definatly more space between the hood and the handle. Also the handle is slightly thinner and at a different angle so more of a chance of your ds being able to stand between the hood and handle.

It would definatly have more potential than the Aria. I loved my mirage. Do you know anyone with one so you could try it out first?

Thanks tutu, you are a goldmine, having had both! I've just taken the plunge and ordered an ebay Mirage, most people seem to really like it so fingers crossed!
