Help with changing bearings on an E3?

I have got the old one off, and fitted the new bearings and axle, but I cannot get the fecking star washers on. Is there a trick to it? Stupid kit came without instructions and I can't find any on google. I've put it back together and on the pram minus the washers and it fine, but I am a little worried.

Help!

can you email p and t's and ask them? Would've thought you hammer the star washers on. Perhaps using hammer and some sort of tubing to press the washer down evenly all round. Or a screw drivers being careful to tap the washer on straight not angled. Personally I'd be questioning the quality of the pram if the bearings are needing changing.

Yes - reminds me of the phil and teds E3 I had (first edition and imported from USA!)..rubbish axels, bearings, tyres. Child pulled harness buckles off (they were only threaded on not stitched! - choking hazard) - mesh at seat sides wore through to the string (beneath the plastic coating) in no time....child also removed the plastic cap from the front swivel wheel - as it was only clicked on - and threw it!...the list goes on - I hated it!!!

New out the box it needed a new wheel!
They did send a new wheel foc mind - but really, not particulary well made.

Great idea, design - just wish the quality was better. Hope the latest ones are much improved.
