Opinions required on kitchen appliances - do you need to buy the same make so that they match

I need to get a new built in ovem gas hob and extractor chimney hood thing.

I have narrowed it down to either

a Fisher & Paykel hob and oven with a Neff hood

or

all neff appliances

can't decide. would the first option look odd

We have different hob/ hood/ ovens! Went with what suited us best. They all look fine together!

Ah some replies!

I have bought the hob and just waiting for a call back to buy the oven and hood! Funnily enough the man has sold me on a unbranded hood that is half the price of the Neff one. Quieter and more extraction apparently... So the oven and hob will match and are both Neff and an unbranded hood Thanks for the advice.

We have bosch hob and oven but had to go with different manufacturers for our hood as I wanted a specific glass design- also our dish washer is a different manufacturer as integrated didn't really matter- fridge freezer is different again Fisher and Paykel purely based on the way it looked- so all different but did use same supplier to make delivery easy etc- by mixing and matching wealso saved quite a bit.
