Child safe blinds

Hi all, trying to buy a blackout blind for my toddler. Very aware of the risks of cords but don't seem to get a clear indication from the websites I'm looking at about what they do to make it safe. Any recommendations? Thank you in advance!

I think there is either a winding mechanism or a short cord which can be shortened and fixed out of reach. Try John Lewis.

We're in the process of putting perfect fit blinds into all our rooms in our house. No cords or winders in the ones we've got

You can get ones where you pull down to set it in place. Then pull down again and it springs back up. Other wise the cord blinds will come with a simple piece of plastic that you attach to the wall and it keep the cord taut.

We have blackout blinds that just attach with Velcro.
