Letting agency boards

Hi, about a month and a flat ago we moved into a new flat and the agency still hasn't taken down the boards. I emailed them and they said they were allowed for a month. What do I do now?

Is it impacting your use of the flat?

Is it advertising "flat 2" etc for rent?

Are you joking? I don't want to see those boards everyday, they're in the entrance.

Just pull them down and put them by the side of the building.
Our letting company used a specific company who they had to book to call out and remove ours. Which was a pain, so we left it on the floor.

Does this help, OP?

The Town and Country Planning (control of advertisement) Regulations 2007 tells us that:

Only one board per property is allowed.
No board announcing a property has been sold or let can be placed unless there is an additional board saying that the lease is subject to contract or has been agreed.
The board can be no larger than 0.5 square metres, or if joined together no more than 2.3 square meters total.
It must be removed within 14 days of completion
It must be no higher than 4.6 metres above ground level or 3.6 metres in ‘Areas of special control’, and
Cannot be illuminated.

Just take it down. Agents leave them up as it is free advertising and tend to be unresponsive if you ask them to move it. As a landlord I routinely take them down before the tenant moves in and dispose of them.
