The stairs in my house are really steep - the angle is well over 45 degrees. I've noticed that most contemporary stairparts ranges in glass and metal are designed for pitches a lot less than this - 40-43 degrees. I think I might therefore be forced to use wood.
The hallway is fairly tight, and I don't want the stairs to look too... monolithic. Previously, I had square balustrates and square newel posts, and the effect was a bit brutal. Please recommend me some nice stairparts!
