I totally get that they might be tenants that don't want to move but then maybe the EA should have waited til the house was empty before doing the photos.

The butter etc out on the second one.

I found the second one particularly quite heart-rending.

Did anyone else see Mickey mouse hanging from the ceiling on the second picture?! Was he a ritual sacrifice?

Went to view a house once and there was a teenager still asleep in bed!!

The first one wasn’t that bad.

Cheap houses in a cheap area. Almost certainly rented, potentially to tenants with chaotic lives (the second one) and the LL is selling and doesn’t want a void period. No reason why the tenants should do anything to facilitate the sale.

I know silver but if my LL put the house up for sale I would make an effort to make it look nice. When I moved out of my previous rental I made sure it was spotless for the photos.
But I can't imagine those photos are doing any favours. I guess investors wouldn't mind and that's maybe who their market is at those prices. It is a very deprived area so even the nice houses aren't worth much. Rental wise those 2 houses will only be fetching 400-450 per month.
