Anyone dead handy/a bit inventive about?

I need to remove these press-studs without damaging this denim dress. They come in 2 halves; top/bottom. Anyone know how I can prise them apart without ruining the fabric? I know there'll be a tiny hole left after but that's ok. I just don't want to have to physically cut around these.

To be honest I think you will have a job to get them apart. Maybe somebody else will have a good idea.
Can I ask why you want to remove them?

I need them off so I can place new ones but in a slightly different position so the garment fits better. The old ones would be visible after so they have to go.

you might have a frayed hole beneath the stud

I'd be tempted to get them gently in a vice on the blob and drill them from the other side a shallow depth with a big bit.
