Just seen this - lovely location, a lot of house for your money, but is it somewhere that you would want to live without re-decoration?

If bedrooms 3, 6 & 7 became bathrooms, you'd have a nice b&b, but what would you do with rooms 1&2 on the ground floor?

Couldn't live there without over haul but would make a great guest house wouldn't it.
Is the price deceiving thoughHmm
Maybe you get a lot more than you bargain for Wink

I reckon that is where the owners/managers live.

Of course, hadn't thought about that!

I love it and would move in there straight away. I know they don't leave furniture but in this case I wish they would. What a bargain.

Love it.

Make them a separate offer on the furniture?

Shock

Still, for that money you'd have plenty in your budget for some serious redecoration.

Nice. Without all the furniture and pictures is would probably already look quite a bit different (but some paint still needed!).
It's almost too much house for the money - suffers from the same thing as guesthouses near me in that the long back extensions take up what could have been a nice garden space.

You could make is an absolutely gorgeous 6 bed / 4 bathroom house

Redo the back extension (smaller) in glass and steel to make a big kitchen/diner/family room + put in a utility and downstairs toilet.

Beds 3 and 6 en suites for bed 1 and 4. Bed 7 into a bathroom. 1 and 4 can be made into lovely master suites with a dressing area as well.

Or have bed 6 as a bathroom form landing not en-suite and keep bed 7 to use as a study/storage room since there isn't any loft.

I bet there are some nasty surprises hiding behind the wallpaper.

I love it as it is! It has a touch of the 12 Grimmauld Place about it...
