Pigletjohn- quick question please

We have just had s new bath installed with a combination tap/shower. It looks very smart but when you isolate the tap with the lever out the back some water also come out of the shower. Is this something the plumber can sort out do you think or is it a problem with the tap/shower valve and the tap itself is defective?

Thank you.

Looks like a stylish Italian tap.

I doubt there is any adjustment, unless the knob can be moved on the spindle. Try the tap supplier or manufacturer. Don't lose your proof of purchase.

They might tell you it needs running in. If so, check the length of the guarantee. But I doubt it will improve with age.

It's a Hudson reed tap. Ok I shall go back to the supplier/manufacturer and see what they say.

They are sending out a new diverter but the plumber seems to think it happens with all shower mixer taps because of capillary action.
