Its pretty windy here what you expect from scotland haha my daughter said her bedroom window is making a noise cause of the wind
Ive stood and checked the whole window and frame and cant see anything wrong
Its not a whistling noise its like a vibration noise only does it when the wind is really strong im baffled at why and where and just seems to be her room that's affected
Im in a 2nd floor top flat both bedrooms are at the back of the flat im wondering if its something outside as you hear nothing otherwise any ideas as im going to check again in morning when its daylight

Ps when the noise happens can hear the sort of vibration noise in the living room

We had something similar a while ago. The windows downstairs in our property are quite old and it's just shoddy double-glazing. The windows don't "seal" when they're shut so strong wind causes a vibrating sound.
A temporary solution has been to stick parcel tape on the joins!

we get this with one of the panels in the back door....but we just ignore it. Although we are finally getting a new door after ten years of it!

I had this in a flat I lived in about 20 years ago. I think it was solved by sealing round the edges of the window. The wind was whistling in a gap round the Windows.
