New Hob broken - how long is "reasonable" to wait for a repair?

We had a new hob supplied with our new kitchen. I used it once then it broke. A new part was ordered but that didn't solve the problem. We are now waiting for another new part. Its over 3 weeks since it first broke. I don't think the kitchen company have done enough to sort the problem. How long could you manage without your hob?

i wouldn't last long without my hob if I was actually wanting to make any food, I hardly use the oven or microwave.

You can pick up a 2 ring gas camping stove quite cheap if you want a temp hob.

Or just get into doing loads of oven/micro dishes.

I would write a letter of complaint.
