Amtico with uf heating - hard underfoot?

Friend's fab new kitchen extension has Amtico over wet uf heating. Looks lovely but... she now makes her DC always wear indoor shoes - says it's pretty hard to walk on all day. (Concrete floor with uf heating pipes inlaid). Now wobbling about my own new kitchen plans as I wanted the same flooring. Help! Any thoughts on a kitchen floor with uf heating that won't feel so hard underfoot or is it the price to pay for toasty toes? TIA.

Never found it a problem and we have tiles over wet ufch. No different from tiles or amtico without ufch. I wear slippers or sandals round the house anyway as my floors aren't spotless (slattern) and as we have an aga heating hardly ever comes on in the kitchen, but whole of downstairs is hard floor and ufch.

I've had several types of amtico, though not with underground heating, and have never needed to wear slippers all day!

We have Amtico, no UF heating but it's absolutely fine to walk on. UF heating is lovely to walk on with bare feet.
