Anyone else not like 'New' Rightmove?

The new portal causes me constant low level annoyance.

The SOLD and UNDER OFFER indicators are too small/wrong colour and in the wrong place, so I keep looking at unavailable houses.

For months, I had to keep switching to the 'Classic' old site during the transition period

Kept giving Rightmove feedback saying I didn't like the new site

Now, the 'Classic' option is gone but it still allows you to give feedback.
Filled in the questionnaire and they say they would like to get more info from me and ask for my email address.
Gave it several times - never heard anything more.

Thought the old site was fine.
Can't think of any reasons for change except change itself...

grumpy today... Wink

You can tick a box to not include sold or under offer. I've just been on it before Mnettering

I hadn't noticed a difference and i have pretty much lived on RM for the last year. What's different about it? You can tell it to exclude SSTC if you want.

Yep you can tick a box NOT to include SSTC but....

Previously, you had to tick a box to include SSTC - so switch around there - making me do work to exclude something I don't 'generally' want.

The large 'splash' photo of the property is much bigger than it used to be - dominating my vision - I preferred the natural scale of the old site

All the filters have moved from a 'Visible' left hand menu to an 'less visible' - and requiring clicks - top page menu

Just a lot of small changes, annoyances

Can't imagine not noticing it over the past year... I use it more than once a day and every time I opened it - there was a greeting page for 'NEW' Rightmove which I could click through to 'Classic' Rightmove... every time, every day for months and months!

Sometimes - I want to see SSTC properties - to check prices across all properties in an area for example, but I want to scroll past quickly.

The SSTC logo uses to appear across a corner of the main photo

But now it is hidden in the text in the right side of page property description

All slowing me down - which is what they want I guess - just irritates

It is taking a bit of getting used to, I agree. But the only thing I think is a real pain is the removal of the drop down menu in the top right hand corner on My Rightmove that used to take me easily between eg saved searches and saved houses. Browsing the way I do it now takes more clicks .

Phew!

That's a relief - thought I was the only one!

Exactly! - Every action now requires more clicks than it used to - I can't think of any reason for the changes other than the obvious.

Force me to make more clicks - slow me down - then Rightmove can claim that the average user spends a longer amount of time on each page - which probably makes that page more valuable to an advertiser - despite the fact that I spend the extra time trying to get off the page and generally building up anti-Rightmove sentiment.

my rightmove still requires opting in to see sold and sstc. so I am confused.

I don't like the new look of the Rightmove site. Its fussy and cluttered.

Looked at it this morning. Its hard to pick out the information at a glance.
