Should I avoid Wren Kitchens in Beckton? Please say they're fine...

I've just read the thread about Wren Kitchens where people have had terrible customer service from them. I've just paid a deposit for a kitchen that won't be delivered until mid-March and I'm worried about whether we've made the right decision.

We have our own fitters, if that makes a difference.

Has anybody used them and had a positive experience? Or should I just get a refund before it's too late?

We have a wren kitchen - not from the same branch - they were absolutely fine although are slow at dealing with problems afterwards (if you have any) - we also has our own fitter. They sent us the wrong fridge and it took ages to sort but let us use the wrong one until the new one arrived and then changed it. Their fitter then put a dint in the door when they switched it over. Again took a while to come back but they switched it. According to their granite fitter who they supplied they have grown really fast and haven't got the after systems sorted fully. That said feb kitchen looks great now and we have had no problems with the quality. Our fitter was also impressed with the quality of the units.

I put the deposit down today, they sell hundreds of kitchens every week. Handful of bad reviews are unavoidable. You pick a company who is considered best and read reviews about it you will find horrible stories. One thing to remember, people only leave reviews when they are unhappy. Happy customers don't every bother. Good luck

I got a wren kitchen fitted last year. I wanted a purple shaker kitchen and they were the only ones who did the colour I wanted. I went over the order with a fine toothed comb as they do not refund even if they have ordered the wrong items/ unneeded items. I managed to get extra things removed from the order and queried some of the fitting costs and got some costs down that way. I was lucky as the fitters they provided were great and I love the kitchen. It is very good quality. We went with the top of the range kitchen units. Still loving it. I still ended up with some ends of units etc I did not need despite me trying to be vigilant.

Wren Head Office is near where I work and whenever I advertise a position I get loads of applicants that either have or currently work in their customer service. None of them last long there and during interview they all say pretty much the same thing about the place and it isn't good.

One of my assistants has just got his bedroom furniture in the sale and he's still waiting on damaged parts to be replaced, handles missing etc. Personally I would avoid

Hi. After looking everywhere we finally bought our kitchen from Wrens, mainly because of the wonderful customer service we received from the Beckton branch. Our kitchen planner /designer was called Zafar- he always made time for us- we visited lots of times!! Everyone has a different experience but luckily ours was very pleasant.
Hope that helps...
