Average packing and removals costs?

Has anyone moved recently and know how much it costs? I'm interested in a packing service too if it isn't too expensive! We'll be moving from a ground floor one bedroom flat to another flat, and just a few miles down the road. We have minimal furniture to move (sofa, armchair, coffee table, fold up dining table and chairs, tv stand, bed, chest of drawers, bedside tables, fan, lamps, clothes in wardrobe but not wardrobe itself) and some other stuff - usual stuff chucked in cupboards including boxes of stuff, and lots of books, art, trinkets, christmas decs, bikes etc etc W're in outer London if it makes a difference.

Any ideas would be great just so I can start factoring in the costs!

We have just moved, 4 bedrooms, 3 sofas, piano, big climbing frame, garage full of tools and camping stuff, big garden furniture, we moved one road away and they packed for us, in Surrey, £1450, including boxes etc. Are you South West London? I can give you their details, they were very good.
