Yes I do!

Well, I say "I" but what I mean is "we".

It was a bugger to clean up but was well worth it as it looks lovely.

DP is a carpenter/builder so knew what he was doing when it came to laying it. Took a fair bit of sanding which is tricky because of the different directions that the blocks go (ours is laid in a herringbone pattern) and lots of layers of varnish but, as I said before, it does look great.

I can't remember where ours was from or how much it was.

I would ask DP but he's out tonight. I'll try and remember to ask him tomorrow in case he has any tips or advice.

Hello again kittentwo.

I've asked DP and he seems to remember that we paid about £10-12 per square metre (this was about 12 years ago) which is pretty cheap. It was from an ad in the local paper.

I've just googled and looked on ebay to get an idea of price and it varies massively doesn't it?

Thank you, yes it does vary a lot, which I think is what has thrown us. We are quite happy to clean it up etc...and go and collect it but were just wary of why it varied in cost so much. I can envisage many months cleaning little bits of wood ahead. Thankyou again for advice :)
