Anyone done it? Do they love it? WIll I be able to put my hot pans on it without melting?

Pros, cons, all advice welcome, thank you!

We had ours put in 7 years ago and they still look good as new. They somehow 'welded' them together so there is no visible joint anywhere.

I've put hot pans down with no adverse effects, but not 'boiling' hot. I wouldn't risk it.

Also if they do get scratched, you can have them re-polished.

Pricey but worth it, I think.

Love ours too - really easy to keep clean and looks great. Hhave never put hot pans down on it though - just don't have the habit of doing that, I automatically get a wooden or cork board out for stuff from the oven.

We have a corian sink too and I just love how seamless it all is - had a white butlers sink before which was a complete nightmare to keep clean.

Thanks for that..... I am also thinking of corian sinks.... are they quite gentle on glasses? Unlike stone/butlers sinks which I find tend to shatter glasses with just a touch.....

Never had anything smash on contact with the corian, and YY to the sink - the worktop drops straight into the sink and it's fab.
