Paint Question - Grey / Greige / Oyster ??

We are in the midst of some mostly cosmetic renovations to a 1950s semi we just bought and after having mostly gotten rid of reams of old textured paper it's almost time to paint!

I've picked colours for living room / dining room / kids rooms but having some trouble with our room.

It is currently bright lemon with paler lemon built in wardrobes with green door handles Grin

The built in wardrobes themselves are actually in pretty decent shape so I'm planning to keep em, paint them and change the handles. I would like to paint the wardrobes a pale grey and do a pale beige / biscuit / sand toning colour on the walls.

I am now discovering that I am a bit rubbish at picking nice grown up / sophisticated colours that go well together though! So any help at picking a nice grey for the cupboards and a toning pale beige / biscuit / sand for the walls would be very very very very very much appreciated.

Ideally it would be Dulux or maybe Crown shades because I don't think we can stretch to Farrow & Ball.

The ceilings are high in the room and it has a nice big window but it does have the built in cupboards and it's not huge so I don't want to paint with anything too dark / strongly coloured in case it feels too dark / oppressive when it's on the walls

No greys that are actually very pale blues or lilacs please - I tried some samples of these type of things (Dulux Fragrant Cloud for example) - it won't go well with a beige wall colour. Maybe more of a 'warm' grey if that doesn't sound too stupid or a pale grey??

Sooner we can fix on our paint colours, sooner we can pick some carpets! Ta very much for the help....
