Dream fridge freezer

We're getting a new fridge freezer and have room for a really BIG one. I'm excited about this as we have three children, cook a lot, and regularly manage to fill two fridges up. What would people recommend? Are American-style ones the biggest out there? I'm willing to spend up to 2k.

We have this one by fisher and Paykel and I love it so much. the double doors make it so easy to see and find everything and the freezer drawer at the bottom is so much better than freezer at the top or down the side.

They also make a version with a water dispenser/ice maker and also a slimmer version if you have a bit less space.

We have a huge space, and so have 2 Fisher and Paykel Fridge Freezers facing each other, so it looks like one unit. One has an ice/water dispenser.

Thanks, everyone. I thought you'd said Fisher Price at first!

Interesting idea to have both. I'll have a look at capacities. The Samsung version of the F&P, with the freezer at the bottom, has a decent freezer capacity, so I'll measure that against separate units.

we have a big FF in the kitchen, and another in the fute (which is next to the front door so handy for putting shopping and milk into, as well as cold drinks for the garden).

Together, they hold less frozen stuff than our old 4-ft-high freezer used to.

Have you checked out subzero yet ?! Some lush FF in their ranges - also Siemens do some enormous ones - ie about 3m long !! There's also various types of pull out drawer fridges and freezers if you want a more integrated look for extra frozen or chilled storage space in addition to an more normal size FF ?!

At the 2K mark your best bet is to buy a matching pair of Siemens/Bosch or Liebherr fridges.

Siemens do the aCool range but they start at about £3.5k each.

Sub Zero are about twice as much as Siemens so yoru budget may be the constraint.

Liebherr is by far the best bet IMO. Superb build quality and their Biofresh technology is worth every penny.

Interesting, thanks. I'll look at these suggestions.

Some friends of mine moved into a house with a very expensive kitchen, including a fridge consisting of pull out drawers. It's a nightmare as you can't put anything open inside. I think our fridge full of leftovers wouldn't translate well!
