Do you know the difference between Neptune & Kitstone kitchens?

I'm still in the planning stage.
I've had lots of quotes but my favourite is the Neptune one but it is £££.
I understand that they may be made by the same company & I wonder if Kitstone might be cheaper.
They request a showroom visit before plans are drawn & its 100 mile trip.

Hi - sorry to burst the bubble - but they are both made in the same province/ same factory in China. They are shipped over in container loads. This is why they won't alter the standard cabinets. Ironic as they show all those pictures of little old english craftsmen building them!!! They must have been on holiday in china when they took those !
I agree though - it is lovely stuff - just wish they would be more truthful with where it's made !!!

They are the same cabinets, pricing of the cabinets is the same - but pricing for other non neptune bits are slightly different - fitting, sink, tap, worktops. There are also special offers from one or the other some times -no sale as such.

Yes, its made in China and ideally I'd buy British, but thats how you can buy a beautiful kitchen for £10k instead of £20k.

Sadly the quote came in at £25K so I'm back to looking again.

Have you looked at HOwdens and Benchmarx? They both do framed painted units which are made in the UK and are much, much cheaper than 25K.
