Possible to add drawers to country style Pine kitchen table?

I have been looking for traditional country style farmouse pine kitchen tables. They seem to go for a fortune on EBay and are £400+ new. I have found a secondhand for lots less, legs could be painted and top sanded back but it doesn't look like it has drawers which we had wanted. Anyone know if it is possible to get a joiner to add them?

It looks quite chunky and like it might be possible to me but then I think most things are possible and they often are but tend also to be much more expensive or difficult to achieve than I had bargained for Grin

Look harder on ebay, I got a second had one with draws painted in F/b clunch scrubbed top for £250. Draws are fabby amazing how much extra room a cutlery draw and a napkin draw cam make in the rest of the kitchen !

Thanks raspberryroop, we lost out on it anyway. I will keep looking on eBay, yours sounds lovely, did you get yours sent to you? Most of them seemed to be collection only and miles from where we are.

Man with a van - it was 40 miles away cost me £30 - I use him a lot ! Got 4 super chairs with it. You probably know you can set up a customised with distance specified daily search that send you the results by email ?
