Can anyone tell me whether the 'drop' measurement on ready-made curtains is from the top of the rail down to the ground... or the fabric length... or...
For example, if I bought eyelet curtains that had a 228cm drop - that would be from the top edge of the fabric down to the bottom edge, and the eyelets would be a little lower in the fabric so from the rail down it would maybe be a drop of approx 220cm. Right, or wrong?
If I bought tab-top curtains with a 228cm drop - is the curtain itself only 220 with an 8cm tab (making total drop of 228) or is it still a 228cm length of fabric and the tabs make it even longer???
