Do you have cream sofas? What colour are your Walls?
(9 Posts)stuck for inspiration......
We have apricot white walls, magnolia ceiling and white paintwork/ceiling rose/cornice (victorian house). Sis has 60's build, white in same places but 1 red wall and 3 others/ ceiling in dulux bitter chocolate 6 (lilac-y off white). Hth!
yes, and pink walls, cream carpet, apricot-ish patterned rug.
Cream sofas are easily marked, especially if anyone sits on them wearing a new pair of jeans, so I don't think I'd get one again.
our sofas have cream throws - one has dark green & white stripes, the other has mad jazzy patterned cover in shades of dusty pink & blue & stuff which is nicer than it sounds, but they don't go together - the throws mean they look vaguely similar.
Carpet is speckled caramel (would prefer real wood flooring, but bay window has subsided a bit so there is a bend in the floor there) Walls are a fairly deep red & curtains are mostly cream but with a few deep red motifs.
It's a bit womb-like but we like it
We have very light pale yellow walls, beigh carpet, yellow curtains with white/green lillie flowers, goes great with our cream sofas.
Ruby red below the dado rail, magnolia above. The dado is metallic gold and the picture rail and woodwork are a darker shade of the ruby red. Stripped pine door. We have bare floorboards and a rug in shades of brown. Khaki curtains. Cushions are reds and browns, and we have a dark brown faux fur throw.
I am beginning to warm to the idea of throws.
Walls are taupe and mink, and we have cushions etc in rust and brown, curtains are Indian, off-white with a pattern of olive green leaves and ochre flowers. Furniture is dark wood, floor is beige-y tiles.
Cream sofas - cream walls - pale wood floors <boring> -
My sofa covers are washable though, have had them over ten years and quite happy with them <too much effort to think about changing >
Actually this thread has reminded me to go and look at new furniture/curtains etc today - thank you and byeeeeeeeeeeee !
