Is the Market going to pick up?

We put our house on the Market 2 weeks ago and were assured by our estate agents that September would be really busy.

depends on where you are! I'm not sure why September in particular would be busy... we thought spring/summer was busy. having said that, we've just accepted an offer (she came to view on saturday, liked it and offered within 2 hours!)... ! good luck!

The level of activity will depend where you are but I doubt anywhere will be "really busy". The market is almost completely flat at the moment and sellers are continuing to over-value their houses so there's no indication that sales will pick up. However, there are still buyers out there so if you've priced your house realistically then you should be able to sell it.
