My house was completely wrecked after a burst pipe in my loft early this year and the whole process has been so stressful. I have found it really hard work trying to project manage the building works and picking new out new schemes for rooms, so I hired a interior designer to help with two of the rooms. The mood board she has created for the bedroom looks lovely but I wondered if anyone had any opinions on the colours she has chosen. She has has picked skimming stone for the walls and dimity for the fitted wardrobe doors. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

i also got a designer to help with some of my rooms.

she chose skimming stone with a raddicio (ok i can't spell it) feature wall.

the skimming stone looks AMAZING. i was very dubious about the grey and thought it would make the place really dark.

one word on finish - the F&B estate emulsion finish (chalky) is not wipeable or cleanable. if it's a high traffic area, get the modern emulsion finish. slightly more sheen, but TBH, i can't really tell the difference. that's me, decorating philistine, I would have painted it all magnolia....
